Best Pizza In Cheshire

We’re back and this time we have been on the hunt for the BEST PIZZA IN CHESHIRE! We have been hopping from town to town looking for the best taste, texture, toppings and overall cheesy goodness. We will aim to keep this list up to date as we continue on our mission to find the perfect pizza.

Stile Napoletano - Chester

‘Bellissimo’

Nestled in the middle of Watergate street amongst the famous Chester rows is a wonderful pizzeria. Owned by the award-winning pizza chef Giacomo Guido, Stile Napoletano serves up tasty and light Neapolitan style pizzas using pure, organic ingredients from Italy alongside quality local produce.

We opted for a Bufala which was San Marzano tomato, Buffalo Mozzarella, Parmesan, fresh basil and Evo oil. Followed by the Parmigiana (vegan option available) that was made up of San Marzano tomato, aubergine, parmesan, basil, mozzarella and Evo oil.

The pizzas were served fresh from the oven straight to the table, the flavours complimented each other beautifully. The tomato sauce was rich and the cheese oozed. I don’t think we left a crust! This is a lovely place to stop for lunch or make a dinner reservation and get a slice of the action.

Rudy’s - Stockton Heath

‘Everything we imagined and more’

Rudy’s in Stockton Heath has come very highly recommended. With many of our followers saying it is the best pizza in the county. We obviously had to check it out, from outside I expected a quaint restaurant but its very much a Tardis, with an upstairs that you can even hire for private events.

Back to the important stuff we asked for two of their best selling pizzas. Beth brought us a vegan special with a pepper puree base, mozzarella cheese, tender stem broccoli, roquito peppers, cherry tomatoes and radish. If I didn’t know I would have never guessed it was vegan, the base was delicious and it was just as cheesy as any other! Very impressed.

The second was a Calabrase which was a tomato based, spicy n’duja sausage that packed a punch. We grabbed some garlic Aioli to finish the crusts because they were simply to good to leave. These pizzas are sizeable but with light, floppy bases it fills you up the perfect amount.

Honest Crust, Sourdough Pizza - Altrincham Market

'Honest Crust in an absolute must'

We popped into Altrincham market as we heard honest crust is an absolute must! Their sourdough pizzas were on most tables as we walked in, proving a popular choice amongst the food vendors in the market. We went for a classic margherita which was lathered in a rich tomato base with slabs of delicious buffalo mozzarella. The dough was worth shouting about, don’t forget to finish the crust with the garlic sauce (you won’t regret it).

Blakemere Village - Northwich

‘Serving up the classics and 2-4-1 Thusdays’

It’s always a good night at Blakemere Village Social. What makes it even better is how quick you can order their wood-fire pizzas straight to your table in the tipi. Serving up all the classics, we ordered a margherita and pepperoni and to our surprise it was Thursday which meant 2-4-1! Both pizzas were equally as good, and they are very generous with the cheese which I personally LOVE! It is great value for money and if pizza isn’t your thing there are a number of other food vendors to choose from.

Jordys - Crewe Market

'One of the best Margheritas I've had'

It was mid week and we popped into Crewe Market for some lunch, what is great is that you can order from several different food outlets all the same time using their app. We went for a Margherita from Jordy’s after getting food envy from the table next to us. It was at the table in less than 10 minutes and off the plate in less than 5. The tomato base was delicious and with plenty of cheese and a garlic sauce to dip in the crusts we couldn't have asked for more. They do a range of toppings and when we go back I will definitely be trying pancetta, asparagus and spring onion on a garlic crème fraîshe base.

Turturici - Davenham

‘Transported to italy’

From the moment we walked through the door we felt as though we had been transported to Italy. The restaurant interior is chic and modern with hints of the owners Sicilian background. It is way bigger than it looks from the outside, with an upstairs that caters for functions and private dining.

We were shown to our table and there was hardly a wait until the pizza landed in front of us. We went for a classic Margherita as well as a romana that came loaded with parma ham, rocket and parmesan shavings. Both equally as tasty with a light base and enough crust to dip in the king of garlic mayos!

Service was fabulous and the restaurant continued to fill up as the night went on. It was great to see people out and eating local, we can’t wait to go back and try the pasta next time!
